Panorama brings together 71 Latin American and French brands in a pop up store in Paris

Panorama opens the doors of a pop up store in Paris to present the best of 71 French and Latin American artisans dedicated to clothing, accessories, jewelry, ceramics, housewares, among others. The ephemeral store is installed for the first time in the French capital in a space of 90 square meters at 21 Rue Filles du Calvaire, in the Marais district, a regular place for fashion lovers. The store will be open from May 9 to June 5.

The official opening of the pop up store is on May 12 and is supported by PromPerú’s commercial office in France, as part of its program to support the promotion and marketing of local products. The store will be open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. «This is the inauguration of our first Parisian boutique, where we will present a selection of pieces from French and South American artisans,» the brand reported.

According to statements by Panorama’s organizers to FashionNetwork.com, they are looking for a location in Paris to stay for the long term.

The select Latin American craftsmanship, with quality processes and exclusive brands, is opening up a space in the European and French markets through projects such as Panorama, which have a seal of trust and know-how for its customers.

«Since 2011, Panorama has undertaken several trips to meet with artisans in Latin America and Europe. Along these fruitful paths, we have built a collection of talented and committed artisans that constitute a selection of exceptional objects, traditional and contemporary, that we are honored to present to our public» detailed the brand.

Participating brands from Latin America include Allpxmamas, Anaychay, Aynie, Chain, Gauderia, Greenpacha, Made in Chola, Matriarca, Maydi, Mozh Mozh, Sake, etc. On the French side are firms such as Aude Hérouard, Emma Bruschi, Hollington, Mimi Céramique and Studio de Lostange, among others.

Alicia Rousseau Jourdan, founder of the French-Peruvian brand Anaychay, with a playful aesthetic and specializing in clothing for girls from 2 to 16 years old using materials such as baby alpaca wool and pima cotton, told FashionNetwork.com that she will present at Panorama «timeless pieces that are permanent» in her collections. Thus, her customizable sheep felt hats, handbags and skirts in vibrant colors will be on display.

Panorama was founded in 2012 in Argentina by Maria Lee to promote the region’s artisans and haute couture designers. For 10 years, Lee has traveled Latin America in search of unique talents. She currently has a store in Argentina and every summer she opens the doors of a store in the Uruguayan beach resort of José Ignacio.
