Vietnam welcomes a touch of Parisian-Japanese fashion elegance as Maison Kitsune, the iconic fashion brand, inaugurates its very first boutique in collaboration with local distributor Tam Son International.
A Fusion of Cultures and Inspirations
Strategically positioned on Trang Tien, the boutique’s design seamlessly blends French and Japanese aesthetics, enriched by the vibrant tapestry of Vietnamese fine arts and cultural heritage. The exterior facade showcases charming stone paving, while the interior exudes warmth with a carefully curated color palette.
The boutique ingeniously divides into four interconnected sections, characterized by wooden walls inspired by wicker art, furniture, and ceiling lighting. These elements serve as an homage to the craftsmanship and cultural identity of Vietnam.
Embracing the Paris-Tokyo Lifestyle
Maison Kitsune’s store concept embodies the essence of a «Paris – Tokyo fusion» lifestyle, where the brand’s hallmark light oak, herringbone floors, and marble counters take the spotlight.
Founded in 2002 by visionaries Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, Maison Kitsune transcends fashion to become a multifaceted lifestyle entity. It houses diverse brands, including Art de Vivre, seamlessly merging Maison Kitsune’s fashion label, Kitsune Musique—an acclaimed music label, and Cafe Kitsune, a charming chain of coffee shops.
With a global footprint, the company operates across numerous countries and territories, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States. In a recent expansion move in 2022, Maison Kitsune marked its debut in Canada, establishing a presence in Vancouver’s historic Gastown district.
