Hash Ladha Appointed as CEO of Jigsaw, a Leading Fashion Retailer

Jigsaw, the renowned premium fashion retailer, is set to welcome a highly-respected retail executive, Hash Ladha, as its new CEO. He steps into this role following the successful tenure of Beth Butterwick, who played a pivotal role in steering the company through a remarkable turnaround since May 2021.

Hash Ladha is scheduled to take the reins as CEO in early next month, bringing with him an impressive track record of leadership and growth in the omnichannel retail space. Throughout his career, Ladha has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the fashion sector. Notably, he served as the Group CEO at Oasis and Warehouse, where he made substantial progress in revitalizing these brands before unforeseen challenges arose due to the pandemic, leading to their acquisition by Boohoo Group. His extensive experience also includes key positions at ASOS and New Look.

Beth Butterwick, who is embarking on a new endeavor that will be disclosed in due course, led Jigsaw through one of its most challenging periods, overseeing a remarkable business rebound. Notably, the company has seen a resurgence, reopening stores and diversifying into rental and resale services, leading to impressive growth in both sales and profits. In its latest financial results, Jigsaw reported an EBITDA increase of nearly 40% and robust double-digit growth in sales.

Jigsaw is committed to building upon the successes achieved under Beth Butterwick’s leadership as they look forward to Hash Ladha’s tenure.

Hash Ladha expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, «I am delighted to be joining Jigsaw. It is a brand that I have admired for many years, and I believe its distinctive in-house design capabilities, brand strength, and multichannel customer proposition provide significant strategic advantages. I am eagerly anticipating collaborating with the board, shareholders, management team, and all Jigsaw colleagues to capitalize on these strengths and better serve our customers in the years to come.
