British Land Welcomes Mary Ricks as Non-Executive Director

British Land, a major player in the retail property sector, has appointed Mary Ricks as its newest Non-Executive Director, effective from November 1st. With over 35 years of extensive experience in the real estate markets of the UK, Europe, and the United States, Mary Ricks brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Mary Ricks most recently served as the President of Kennedy Wilson, a global real estate investment company, where she dedicated 32 years of her career. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the launch of Kennedy Wilson’s European operations and led the company’s successful IPO in London in 2014.

Under her leadership, Kennedy Wilson’s European business was taken private in 2017, transforming into an $8 billion global real estate investment and asset management platform headquartered in the United States. Mary Ricks continued to serve as Group President from 2018 to 2023, contributing her insights as a board member with a specific focus on investment and asset management.
