Get ready for an extraordinary luxury shopping experience as South Coast Plaza announces the addition of over 30 new boutiques in the upcoming year.
Leading this exciting wave are renowned names such as Bvlgari, Cartier, Casper, Chloé, Gucci, Lanvin, and Palm Angels. The stellar lineup continues with Alaia, Amiri, Armani/Caffè, Baccarat, Courrèges, Dior Men, Eileen Fisher, Jacques Marie Mage, Mejuri, Santa Maria Novella, Wolford, and Zegna, with more announcements anticipated soon.
In a significant expansion, Cartier and Bvlgari will unveil upgraded Jewel Court boutiques in spring 2024, contributing to South Coast Plaza’s distinction as the largest collection of luxury timepiece and jewelry boutiques in North America. This expansion also includes a redesign and expansion of Harry Winston’s boutique later in the year.
Gucci is set to open an impressive 19,000-square-foot flagship location adjacent to the largest Balenciaga boutique in the Americas. Chloé and Baccarat are reimagining their existing boutiques, and Dior is gearing up to launch a new men’s store adjacent to its flagship location.
Palm Angels, renowned for its sophisticated street style, will enhance the Din Tai Fung wing early in 2024, joining recent additions Byredo, Rimowa, Missoni, Alexander Wang, and Gentle Monster.
This expansion builds on the success of 2023, which witnessed the opening of over 30 stores, including debuts from Balmain and Giorgio Armani. Notably, international fashion group OTB made history with simultaneous launches of Maison Margiela, Marni, and Jil Sander—a first for South Coast Plaza.
Look forward to upcoming openings from Lanvin and Jacques Maria Mage in 2024. Giorgio Armani personally designed a relocated boutique, with plans to transform the adjacent coffee bar into Armani/Caffè later this year.
Emily George, Balmain president, expresses excitement about the late 2023 debut, stating, «We are thrilled to join the ranks of luxury brands at the Iconic South Coast Plaza, offering our loyal customer base in Southern California the highest level of products and service close to home.
