Sosandar has officially appointed Nick Mustoe as the permanent Chairman, solidifying his role after stepping into the interim position in March. Mustoe assumed the temporary post following the unfortunate passing of Non-Executive Chairman Bill Murray in February.
In expressing his delight at the appointment, Mustoe emphasized the exciting phase in Sosandar’s growth journey, expanding its distinctive product offerings globally through multiple channels. He expressed gratitude to Jon Wragg, Independent Non-Executive Director, who has chosen to step down to focus on other commitments.
As Sosandar experiences rapid growth and broadens its distribution channels, the brand is set to open its own stores in affluent towns with thriving high streets in 2024. This strategic move aligns with the brand’s commitment to reaching a broader audience, following its entry into third-party physical spaces, including a recent deal with Sainsbury’s.
Expanding beyond the UK, Sosandar has inked deals to enter the markets in Australia and Canada. With international sales launched through the Global-e platform, the brand has exceeded its initial target, signing agreements with The Iconic in Australia and The Bay in Canada. This showcases Sosandar’s dedication to global expansion under Nick Mustoe’s leadership, promising ongoing excitement and strategic advancements in the dynamic fashion landscape.
