Simultaneously, Kenji, a retailer specializing in design-oriented homewares, is also set to join the mall.
Together, they will occupy an impressive 6,850 sq ft of retail space when they open their doors later this year.
In line with a trend observed in malls throughout the UK, Rituals will be moving into a 2,022 sq ft unit that became available due to an expansion by the previous tenant. This unit was previously occupied by Phase Eight on the Upper Mall, but Phase Eight is now relocating to a larger 6,000 sq ft unit alongside fellow TFG-owned women’s clothing brand Hobbs.
Rituals’ Merry Hill store will offer a wide array of products, including bath and body essentials, home goods, gift sets, and the ever-popular «The Ritual of Sakura» collection, along with new product launches. Like its other stores in the UK and Ireland, it will also feature a selection of refillable products.
On the other hand, Kenji Merry Hill will join its nine other locations across the UK, opening next to Schuh on the Lower Mall, in close proximity to the recently opened Nike Unite and Schuh Kids stores. Spanning 4,833 sq ft, this space will continue to showcase products inspired by Asian culture, including homeware, stationery, gifts, and their unique character-based plush collections. Additionally, the store will incorporate a significant tech element, with installations and interactive experiences inspired by the upcoming Kenjiland game and app.
