Who we are
VOUS Magazine (“VOUS”, “we”) publishes vousmag.com. Data controller: VOUS Magazine, Paseo de la Dirección 81, 1A, 28039 Madrid, Spain. Contact for any privacy question: alejandro@vousmag.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact and quote forms — name, email and your message, to answer you (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps).
- Newsletter (the VOUS Letter) — your email, only if you subscribe, to send new issues, open calls and offers (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Creator pages — name, professional role, city, Instagram handle and the credits of work published in VOUS, taken from the publication credits of each issue (legitimate interest in documenting who created the work we publish). You can ask us to remove a page at any time using “Request removal”.
- Claiming a creator page — name, email, Instagram handle, optional bio, website, booking contact and portrait, to verify you and show your details (consent / contract). An account is created so you can log in.
- Shop — issues are sold through MagCloud; purchases and payments happen on MagCloud under their privacy policy.
- Technical data — IP address and basic logs for security and spam protection (legitimate interest).
Who receives your data
Our hosting provider (Hostinger), our email providers and, for the shop, MagCloud. We do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
Messages: up to 2 years. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Creator pages and accounts: until you ask us to remove them. Legal and accounting records: as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to alejandro@vousmag.com. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es).
Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies (for example to keep you logged in) and may use analytics to understand how the site is used.
