Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is making waves on New York’s iconic Fifth Avenue with the grand opening of its largest global club store. In partnership with Fanatics and Lids, the brand-new store at 535 5th Ave is set to open its doors on December 15, taking the place of its former Fifth Avenue location, which recently closed.
This expansive 5,200-square-foot store promises an extensive product lineup, featuring team jerseys, headwear, accessories, and a comprehensive range of Nike and Jordan teamwear. Exclusive collaborations and fashion collections, alongside PSG designs inspired by the dynamic spirit of New York, will be available only at this flagship location.
Enhancing the shopping experience, the store will house a customization station—a signature feature found in many Lids retail locations. This station allows PSG enthusiasts to personalize their gear on-site. Additionally, the store will offer a selection of exclusive signed game and non-game jerseys, along with other coveted collectibles for purchase.
Fabien Allègre, PSG’s Chief Brand Officer, expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, «We are thrilled with the welcome we’ve received from New Yorkers since our establishment in 2022. We look forward to welcoming them to an even larger and more innovative store in December, still located on the iconic 5th Ave. This expansion reflects the success of the Paris Saint-Germain brand and our original boutique development strategy worldwide.»
Lawrence Berger, Co-founder and Partner at Ames Watson, owner of Lids, and Chairman of FanzzLids Holdings, emphasized the decision to open an expanded version of the Fifth Avenue store to provide customers with an unparalleled retail experience. He stated, «This new store will be the largest to date, a premier destination offering unique licensed sports gear, headwear, and accessories guaranteed to appeal to our diverse shoppers.»
PSG’s global merchandising partnership with Fanatics, established in 2020, involves Lids operating PSG stores worldwide. The new Fifth Avenue location joins an illustrious lineup of stores in major U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Miami, as well as in cultural capitals such as Seoul, Tokyo, London, and Doha.
