Natura&Co.-Owned Avon Appoints Kristof Neirynck as CEO: Strategic Leadership Transition

In a pivotal move, Natura & Co., the Brazilian cosmetics giant overseeing Avon, announces a strategic leadership transition. Angela Cretu, Avon’s current CEO, will step down on January 1, 2024, paving the way for Kristof Neirynck, the existing Global Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Director Western Europe at Avon, to assume the role.

Kristof Neirynck, an industry veteran with a noteworthy background, served as Chief Marketing Officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, overseeing beauty and wellness brands. His extensive experience also includes a commendable 13-year tenure at Procter & Gamble.

Natura & Co. commends Neirynck as a visionary leader adept at driving business turnarounds and substantial growth. In his role as Global Chief Marketing Officer for the past two years, Neirynck led a successful brand relaunch, achieving significant gross margin improvement for Avon.

Alessandro Carlucci, former CEO of Natura Cosméticos, is set to rejoin the group as a senior advisor to Avon, enhancing the strategic depth of the leadership team.
