Moschino, the iconic Italian fashion house, has named Davide Renne as its new Creative Director, succeeding Jeremy Scott, who recently left the company.

The announcement was made by Aeffe, the Italian fashion group responsible for managing Moschino, along with brands like Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, and Pollini.

Davide Renne, previously associated with Gucci, brings over two decades of experience in the fashion industry to his role. He served as the head designer for women’s fashion at Gucci and is well-regarded for his sophisticated vision and deep understanding of Moschino’s heritage and style.

Franco Moschino, the founder of the house, was known for his playful and surreal approach to fashion, and Davide Renne aims to carry forward this legacy. He officially assumes his role as Creative Director at Moschino on November 1, 2023, and his debut collection for Autumn/Winter 24-25 will be showcased during Milan Fashion Week in February 2024.

The appointment of Davide Renne is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Moschino, a global Maison with Italian roots and a unique identity in the luxury fashion sector. Renne’s background and approach align with the brand’s philosophy of embracing playfulness, creativity, and a sense of discovery.

Franco Moschino’s legacy continues to thrive, and under Davide Renne’s leadership, Moschino is set to remain at the forefront of the fashion world, celebrating its Italian heritage and distinct style.
