L’Oréal Italy Appoints Ninell Sobiecka as President

L’Oréal Italy is set to welcome Ninell Sobiecka as its new President, starting on January 1, 2024. Sobiecka currently serves as the Managing Director of L’Oréal Russia, a position she took on in January 2023. She will be taking over from Emmanuel Goulin, who is transitioning to the role of President of L’Oréal Group’s global travel retail and joining the group’s executive committee.

Ninell Sobiecka, originally from Poland, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She has previously worked with renowned companies like PepsiCo, Danone, and Henkel before joining L’Oréal in 2005. Her journey within L’Oréal has been marked by significant achievements. She initially served as the Marketing Director for the Vichy brand in the Swiss market. Over the years, she held various senior management positions for Vichy in Germany and Russia, gaining valuable expertise. In 2016, she assumed the role of Vice-President of L’Oréal Group’s Dermatological Beauty Division for the Asia-Pacific region, which was then known as Active Cosmetics. Her dedication and success within the company led to her appointment as Deputy General Manager of L’Oréal in Russia in 2021 and later as General Manager.

Ninell Sobiecka is known for her modern and forward-thinking approach to leadership. She is a strategic executive who prioritizes personal development. Her adaptability and ability to navigate different cultural environments are highly regarded. Her appointment is expected to contribute to the ongoing modernization efforts within L’Oréal Italy.

L’Oréal continues to thrive, reporting a Q3 fiscal 2023 revenue of €10 billion, representing a substantial 4.5% increase in growth.
