She was poised to unveil an exciting new cosmetics line in collaboration with the prestigious French luxury brand, Balmain.
In a tweet, the 22-year-old Jenner shared that she had fallen ill and, regrettably, couldn’t make the trip to Paris to launch the collection as originally planned alongside Balmain’s Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing.
Although she didn’t disclose the specific nature of her ailment, TMZ.com reported that she had been hospitalized in the Los Angeles area earlier in the week due to severe flu-like symptoms, which included nausea and dizziness.
Despite the setback, Jenner expressed her disappointment, saying, ‘Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show… Creating this collection with Olivier has been a dream.’
Kylie Jenner, whose lip gloss kits and cosmetics have propelled her to billionaire status, had been gearing up to introduce the Kylie X Balmain line, featuring a range of eyeshadows, lip liners, and lip gloss, at the Paris fashion show. These products were set to grace the Balmain models as they graced the runway for the Spring Summer 2020 collection.
Notably, Jenner was also absent from the recent Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles, where she had been scheduled to present an award alongside her sister Kim Kardashian and model sister Kendall.
