Kurt Geiger, a renowned premium footwear retailer, has unveiled its flagship store on London’s iconic Oxford Street at number 272-274.

This strategic location, adjacent to John Lewis, offers a generous 2,916 sq ft of retail space and brings to life the brand’s vision, meticulously designed by Chief Creative Officer Rebecca Farrar-Hockley and architect Stefano Ripoli.

The store brilliantly showcases Kurt Geiger’s signature rainbow colors, which are synonymous with the label and adorn various products, including sandals, slides, trainers, heeled pumps, bags, and accessories. The rainbow-toned glass, a contemporary take on traditional stained glass, harmonizes beautifully with the store’s millefiori-style floral wall, antique brass elements, turquoise or floral upholstery, and contrasting concrete walls, pillars, and ceiling, which were already part of the space when Kurt Geiger acquired it.

This flagship store offers the complete range of Kurt Geiger’s women’s, men’s, and accessories collections, aiming to vividly convey the brand’s overarching narrative.

Kurt Geiger has been on an upward trajectory, recently announcing its intent to continue international expansion following a new funding package. Owned by private equity firm Cinven, the company operates over 70 standalone stores and more than 100 concessions. With a turnover increase of 22% to over £234 million in the year ending January and a net profit of £7.3 million, the 60-year-old company is committed to growing its international business to match its UK operations, as stated by CEO Neil Clifford.

This strategic move by Kurt Geiger marks a significant addition to the vibrant retail landscape of Oxford Street, reaffirming the brand’s position as a premium destination for footwear and accessories.
