Judge denies bail to Canadian fashion designer Nygard on appeal

Fashion mogul Peter Nygard’s appeal for bail has been denied by a judge in Canada. Nygard, who faces extradition to the United States on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, was arrested in Winnipeg in December at the request of the U.S. government. He had previously sought bail in February but was unsuccessful. The Manitoba Court of Appeal has now upheld the decision to deny his request for bail.
