The Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries renews its leadership with the appointment of Rosana Perán as its new president. The also executive vice-president of the Pikolinos group replaces Marián Cano, who has been acting as head of Fice since 2020.
Perán was elected as the new president of Fice at the electoral assembly held by the association on May 19. With a background in business, business management and leadership, the new president of Fice has been linked during her career to companies such as Tempe or the Pikolinos group (whose general management passed, at the beginning of this year and after a reorganization process, to the Perán family).
«Holding the presidency of the federation is an honor and an opportunity to give to the footwear sector in this country what the sector has given me, my family and many people with whom I share my life throughout my life,» said the new president. As a goal at the head of Fice, she has pointed to an improvement of the organization’s representativeness and its role in Spain and Europe.
Perán takes over the post from Marián Cano, president of the Valencian Association of Footwear Entrepreneurs (Avecal). «She is and has been the driving force for change in the transformation of the sector, anticipating the demands of local, regional and state entities, a pioneer in the concept of sustainability, circular economy systems and technological incorporation,» said the new head of Fice.
