Canada Goose, a renowned luxury outerwear brand, has announced the appointment of Marjan Anwar Khan as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This strategic move coincides with significant leadership transitions in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
In a positive shift, Woody Blackford, the Chief Product Officer at Canada Goose, has amicably left the company. The brand is actively searching for a visionary design leader to collaborate closely with the existing product leadership team. Simultaneously, Paul Cadman, who served as Canada Goose’s APAC President, has also departed from the organization.
Moreover, Canada Goose has fortified its board of directors with two exceptional additions. Gary Saage, the former Group Chief Financial Officer of Richemont, and Jennifer Davis, a highly respected partner at Bain Capital Private Equity, have assumed their roles on the board with immediate effect. Jennifer Davis will succeed Josh Bekenstein, who has opted to step down from his board position. Gary Saage will also contribute his expertise to the audit committee.
Dani Reiss, Chairman and CEO of Canada Goose, expressed his enthusiasm for these developments, stating, «As Canada Goose embarks on an exciting new phase of global expansion, I am thrilled to welcome Gary and Jennifer to our board, and I warmly welcome Marjan as our CTO. I’d also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Josh for his exceptional service, leadership, and contributions to Canada Goose since our collaboration began in 2013. Josh remains a remarkable mentor and a cherished friend. Our newest board members bring their extensive knowledge and expertise in finance, luxury, and retail to guide our team in executing our strategic growth initiatives. Meanwhile, Marjan will lead the charge in our technology transformation journey.»
