As the curtain rises on January’s Paris Fashion Week Men, all eyes turn to Louis Vuitton, eager to discover the next groundbreaking showcase following Pharrell Williams’ spectacular debut last season. The upcoming edition, slated for January 16 to 21, 2024, boasts a stellar lineup of 74 labels, including the highly anticipated return of Louis Vuitton.
The dynamic calendar unfolds with 42 runway shows spread across six days. Noteworthy comebacks include Valentino and Balmain, scheduled for Saturday at 6 pm CET and 8.30 pm CET, respectively. (White Mountaineering will take the stage at 7 pm on the same day.) GMBH is set to conclude the week on Sunday at 7 pm CET, unless a surprise addition graces the very end.
Adding to the excitement, Japanese label Auralee, US sensation Winnie, and Chinese avant-garde Ziggy Chen, previously showcased in presentations, will make their runway debuts this year.
Among the presentations, Kartik Research, an LVMH prize semi-finalist founded in 2021 (formerly known as Karu Research), and French sensation Ouest Paris, led by Arthur Robert, will debut at the Sphere showroom. Meanwhile, the Meta Campania Collective, crafted by Jon Strassburg, Heiko Keinath, and Constanze Walcher, will unveil its timeless Italian style for the first time.
However, this season will witness the absence of several notable labels compared to the June edition. French stalwarts Marine Serre, Etudes, Koché, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Georges Wendell, and Courrèges, alongside British label Bianca Saunders, have opted out. Lazoschmidl, in a departure from tradition, will present a captivating showcase in lieu of a traditional runway display.
The stage is set for a captivating blend of established names and fresh talent, promising a week of innovation, style, and fashion-forward narratives at Paris Fashion Week Men.
