Four days before Paris Fashion Week, on Friday, June 17, Zadig & Voltaire chose the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris to present its fall-winter 2022/23 collection, entitled Manifesto, in a space marked by giant scaffolding, a symbol of perpetual evolution.

The tone of the event was set from the start, with a first series of creations in bold colors. The collection by Cecilia Bönström, artistic director of the brand since 2007, offers an eclectic vision of fashion in which various styles combine harmoniously on the catwalk: rock, casual, bohemian chic.

The brand has opted for a fluid wardrobe, imbued with freedom, composed of floating pieces: silk tunics with puffed sleeves, sleeveless vests made in sheepskin and decorated with floral embroidery or even crumpled suede pants. Each model was combined with a pair of leather boots or mules.

One of the highlights of this show was a tight-fitting, midnight blue monochromatic sequinned suit worn by a model who walked the runway with a nonchalant stride. This look was also seen in bright yellow.

For this return to Paris, after having presented its spring-summer collection in Saint-Tropez last year, the fashion show included a total of forty outfits to the intoxicating rhythm of the artist Regina Demina.
