The brand has plans to further enhance this platform by featuring guest influencers and other tastemakers and launching on TikTok’s live shop in the near future.
The challenges posed by the pandemic led to the closure of three WGACA locations, but it also ignited a new perspective. Gerard Maione noted the growing demand for luxury vintage nationwide and emphasized WGACA’s ability to meet this demand through strategic partnerships with global sourcing partners. Notable wholesale clients include Kith, Goop, Shopbop, Epcot Center, Dillard’s, and Amazon, with the latter partnership significantly boosting the brand’s presence.
Seth Weisser highlighted that WGACA originated as a ‘vintage heritage’ retailer, introducing and educating consumers about vintage fashion. Over the years, they’ve evolved into a luxury resale brand.
