Rather than looking backward, Ssense is using its anniversary to look forward and create something new in collaboration with a network of creatives who have contributed to its identity. The Ssense XX initiative aims to advance the conversation surrounding fashion, community, and culture through unique products, content, and experiences.
As part of Ssense XX, the platform will introduce 20 limited-edition releases in collaboration with emerging and established creatives. These highly-anticipated drops will be featured on the interactive Ssense XX microsite, set to launch between October 11 and November 7.
The lineup of creatives includes renowned names like 032c, Acne Studios, Amiri, Curves by Sean Brown, ERL, Jil Sander, KNWLS, LỰU ĐẠN, Marine Serre, Martine Rose, New Balance, Niko June, Rick Owens, Salomon, S.R. Studio. LA. CA., The Elder Statesman, The North Face, Thom Browne, Wales Bonner, and Y/Project.
Ssense’s flagship store in Montreal, located at 418 St. Sulpice Street in the historic Old Port district, will host physical installations showcasing the exclusive releases. An interactive display on the five-storey facade of the store will serve as a dynamic canvas for projected content from October 11 to 25.
Fashion enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Ssense XX merchandise, available in limited quantities starting October 23 on ssense.com and the Ssense mobile app.
