The new store, located in Westfield Stratford, is expected to be the first of many as Sephora seeks additional UK locations. The company’s entry into the UK market was met with a strong response, with its Westfield White City store drawing 5,000 visitors on opening day and sales exceeding expectations by over 300%.
The Stratford store will feature a product selection tailored to the UK market, a unique store design, community involvement, and distinct social media and communication campaigns. Sephora’s iconic black and white stripes will dominate the store’s 23-meter façade, while the modern interior will incorporate soft geometric shapes, ambient lighting, textured finishes, and greenery.
Customers can explore a range of beauty brands, with 125 brands available in makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance, and wellness categories. Sephora UK’s exclusive offerings, including brands like Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and Glossier, will be complemented by new and exclusive additions such as Adwoa Beauty, Relevant, Strand, Salt & Stone, and Naked Sundays.
The Beauty Hub, positioned as a premium destination in Stratford, will offer unique beauty services and treatments performed by in-house experts. It features an open-plan design, providing more space for services. The store will also offer services like the Sephora UK Lip Bar, the Benefit Brow Bar, and personalized fragrance engraving.
Sephora UK CEO Sarah Boyd expressed the company’s commitment to delivering a unique experience tailored to the UK’s cultural needs and hopes for a similarly positive response in Stratford. The second store’s launch reflects the company’s ambitious plans for expansion and growth in the UK market.
