Puig, the renowned Spanish conglomerate specializing in perfumery, beauty, and fashion, is set to expand its Barcelona headquarters with the addition of the new Puig Tower T2. Located adjacent to the existing Puig Tower T1 at 34 Plaza Europa in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, this expansion aims to double the size of Puig’s central offices, accommodating the growing workforce, including approximately 485 employees from the operations hub and innovation center.
Designed by GCA Architects, the Puig Tower T2 features cutting-edge laboratories for innovative product development. Spanning 21,000 square meters across 20 floors, the tower boasts modern amenities, including six intelligent elevators and three parking floors with electric vehicle charging stations. The building’s exterior showcases a glass envelope and a dynamic design with four superimposed cubes, while the interior is designed for flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work model.
Marc Puig, the CEO, emphasized the new addition as a symbol of global growth and sustainability values. The existing Puig Tower T1 currently houses around 500 employees, and the gradual relocation process to the new tower is expected to continue throughout the year.
Established in 1914, Puig is a family-owned company with a diverse portfolio of fashion brands, such as Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, and Nina Ricci. The company also features cosmetics and perfume brands like Byredo, Penhaligon’s, L’Artisan Parfumeur, holding licenses for various others. Operating in 30 countries and reaching 150 markets globally, Puig reported a turnover of 3.62 billion euros in its latest fiscal year. This strategic expansion aligns with Puig’s commitment to sustained growth and innovation in the fashion and beauty industry.
