Oniverse, the renowned fashion and lingerie group, formerly known as Calzedonia Group, has expanded its product offerings into the realm of fine food and wine with Signorvino in Paris.
Situated in the lively Place St Michel in the Latin Quarter of Paris, Signorvino is a spacious three-story establishment that offers a delightful blend of classic and contemporary Italian cuisine. The venue boasts an extensive selection of Italian wines, catering to a range of preferences from affordable options to exceptional vintages.
Founded in 1986 by Sandro Veronesi and recently rebranded as Oniverse, the group is based in Verona and encompasses well-known brands such as Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Tezenis, Falconeri, Signorvino, Atelier Emé, and Antonio Marras. This latest venture diversifies Oniverse’s luxury offerings, extending from lingerie and fashion to include cashmere, fine food, and wine.
Signorvino Paris, with dining spaces for 160 guests, is strategically located near Notre-Dame Cathedral. Following the opening of Signorvino in Prague in November, the Paris establishment represents the group’s commitment to experiential branding in the luxury sector, aligning with the spirit of renowned venues like Armani Caffè, Gucci Osteria, and Restaurant Monsieur Dior.
The menu at Signorvino features classic starters such as Culatello di Zebello and Polpette di Manzo, alongside innovative pasta dishes like spaghetti cacio e pepe with gambero rosso tartare. Noteworthy main courses include a Milanese veal chop served with Gewurztraminer mayonnaise. The extensive wine selection, boasting over 2,000 references, spans Primitivos priced at around €25 to magnums of the legendary Tuscan red, Castelgiocondo, priced at €549.
Federico Veronesi, head of Signorvino and son of family patriarch Sandro, expressed the brand’s commitment to creating a culinary journey into the heart of taste. Oniverse, an anagram of Veronesi and a play on «universe,» hints at the group’s ongoing diversification, suggesting more novel ventures in the future.
