Off-White announces a collaboration with U.S. Major League Baseball (MLB) and cap brand New Era to create a range of limited edition apparel featuring the colors and logos of various MLB teams.

The Off-White X MLB collection, which marks Off-White’s first official collaboration with a professional sports league, brings the luxury brand’s «iconic ‘meteor shower’ premise to fashion tees, reimagined with Off-White’s aesthetic codes in a design that is both familiar and unexpected,» Off-White said in an Instagram post, announcing the collaboration via its social media account.

The capsule, which encompasses several key sportswear pieces, includes hoodies, vintage-tinged T-shirts and caps, all of which feature meteor holes, a style hallmark of the brand’s late founder Virgil Abloh.

The collaboration with Off-White features six MLB clubs: Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, as well as Abloh’s hometown club, the Chicago Cubs.

The launch was also celebrated with a campaign shot by Conor Cunningham featuring stylist Veneda Carter and her husband Weston.
Pieces from the new capsule will be available on Off-White’s website, as well as in stores in Paris, New York, Las Vegas and Miami starting this month.

In April it was announced that Ibrahim Kamara had been hired as Off-White’s new art and image director.
