Asda’s Chief Customer Officer, David Hills, Joins After Seven-Month Wait

David Hills has officially assumed his role as Asda’s Chief Customer Officer, bringing an end to the seven-month anticipation since his appointment in February.

Hills arrives at Asda after a distinguished 16-year tenure at the German budget supermarket giant, Aldi. His experience includes serving as Group Director of Marketing and Communications, where he held several senior commercial positions before taking up his final role in 2012.

In his capacity as Chief Customer Officer, Hills is tasked with shaping and advancing Asda’s overall customer proposition. This encompasses the strategic direction, marketing endeavors, and brand management for both the main Asda brand and the George fashion and lifestyle brand.

Hills’ arrival heralds a fresh perspective for Asda’s customer-centric initiatives, aligning the company’s strategies with evolving consumer expectations and market dynamics. With his extensive background in marketing and senior commercial roles, Hills is a valuable addition to the Asda team as the company continues to innovate and enhance its customer-focused strategies.
