Neinver starts construction of its outlet in the Alps

Neinver grows in Europe and starts the construction of its Alpes The Style Outlets shopping center. The Spanish multinational has just begun construction work on this complex, located near Geneva, where companies such as Adidas, Levi’s and Guess have already confirmed their presence.

The Spanish group specializing in the development and management of outlets started the construction of this center last March and, as detailed in a statement, «work is progressing according to plan, with the preparation of the three platforms that will house the main building and the parking lot. The complex was planned more than a decade ago, although the completion of the works has been postponed on several occasions and, for the time being, there is no date for opening to the public.

With a gross leasable area (GLA) of 20,400 meters and more than 90 stores and restaurants, Alpes The Style Outlets will be Neinver’s second shopping center in France and the 17th in Europe as a whole.

«France is a key market for us. Our goal is to develop and operate this center with a strong involvement with the local community and contribute to improving the economic and social development of the area, creating 500 direct jobs,» said Daniel Losantos, CEO of Neinver.

The complex under construction is located in a strategic enclave, close to the French border with Switzerland and various winter tourist destinations. In terms of design, it reproduces an Alpine village and combines materials such as concrete, stone and wood.

Founded in 1969, the Spanish multinational Neinver focuses on real estate development, investment and management in Europe. It operates two proprietary brands, The Style Outlets and Factory, and manages 17 outlets and four retail parks in six countries: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands.
