Explore a new era of sustainable fashion with Monsoon’s groundbreaking collaboration alongside the London College of Fashion’s ‘Making for Change’ and social enterprise FabricWorks, a transformative project by charity Stitches in Time.
In this capsule collection, Monsoon’s unwavering commitment to free-spirited sustainability takes center stage. This partnership, a pivotal step in Monsoon’s long-term association with the London College of Fashion UAL, introduces a collection that reshapes the landscape of conscious fashion.
Discover the eight hand-embroidered pieces, seamlessly fusing denim and knitwear, showcasing Monsoon’s dedication to a sustainable future. What sets this collection apart is its innovative use of absolutely zero new materials. Ponchos, jeans, dresses, and dungarees emerge as stars of the collection, each artfully crafted from surplus stock of previous seasons, revitalized with intricate embroidery techniques using thread off-cuts.
Nestled in Poplar and Limehouse in east London, Making for Change and FabricWorks, as social initiatives, collaborated with eight talented women across both projects. Together, they joined forces with Monsoon’s design team, infusing each garment with a distinctive design perspective.
Caroline Jackson, Monsoon’s Design Director, takes pride in being the first major retailer to partner with Making for Change and Stitches in Time. She affirms, “This collection is made up of one-off limited-edition pieces which we expect to sell out quickly.”
Immerse yourself in this limited-edition collection—a fusion of fun, femininity, and conscious fashion choices. Join Monsoon in reshaping sustainable style, where each piece narrates a story of creativity, collaboration, and mindful choices.
