The store of the Spanish brand of handbags and fashion accessories Misako located in the Plenilunio shopping center, in the east of Madrid, is transformed and opens its doors adding 33 square meters to its surface.

The new 113-square-meter space has also refreshed its image, being closer to values such as creativity and sustainability, according to the Catalan brand.

The brutalist-style store, with shelves of wood, metal and concrete, offers a current catalog with products such as bags, backpacks, purses, computer cases, suitcases, fanny packs, belts, scarves and costume jewelry, among others.

With this expansion, Misako consolidates its place in the portfolio of Klépierre, the French operator of the Plenilunio shopping complex, and shares aisles with brands such as Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho, Primark, H&M, Levi’s and Desigual, to name a few.

Misako was founded in 1998 in the town of Esparraguera, has a presence in Spain, Portugal and Andorra, and closed 2021 with sales of over €45 million, leaving behind its 40% drop in 2020.

For its part, the Plenilunio shopping center receives 12 million visitors a year, has nearly 200 brands inside and over 70,000 square meters of floor space.
