Mango continues to forge alliances with companies that complement its offer and, after joining forces last year with Intimissimi, announces that it will distribute a selection of Rituals products, a brand specializing in cosmetics and wellness, on its e-commerce site.

 

In order to add Rituals products to its online store, Mango has created the «Wellness» section, through which (and by integrating part of the stock of the Dutch brand) will distribute up to 150 references corresponding to six categories: bath and shower, body care, hand care, facial care, gift boxes and home.

Although the agreement between Mango and Rituals is first materialized in Spain, it will be extended to other European markets in the coming months, according to the Catalan company, which has also added that it will gradually expand the volume of items available.

The group founded by Isak Andic continues, in this way, nurturing its marketplace, launched last October with the incorporation of Intimissimi designs (part of the Calzedonia group) to its online offer. Mango currently distributes the intimate fashion brand in Spain, France and the Netherlands and plans to take this synergy to Germany, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Ireland in the coming months.

«We want to strengthen our offer with complementary categories and continue to advance in our goal of building a platform of services for our customers,» in the words of Elena Carasso, Mango’s online and customer director.

The online channel is key to the Spanish textile company’s business: in 2021, digital sales accounted for 42% of the total, or 942 million euros (the company’s total turnover last year was 2234 million euros, close to pre-pandemic levels). Launched in 2000, Mango’s online store accumulates 830 million visits per year, according to figures provided by the company itself.

For its part, Rituals is headquartered in Amsterdam and operates in Spain with 85 stores and 495 points of sale. Since 2016, it has managed its activity in the Spanish and Portuguese markets through the subsidiary Rituals Cosmetics Ibérica.
