Borough Yards, the lively shopping and entertainment district located in London Bridge, is set to enrich its beauty offerings with the introduction of two new stores this autumn. The renowned Ted Baker-owned Ted’s Grooming Room barber shop and the esteemed skin specialists, re:lax, are the latest additions.
Launched in 2018 by Ted Baker, Ted’s Grooming Room has opened its 19th London branch at Borough Yards. This stylish establishment takes inspiration from the 1920s, offering a range of high-quality male grooming services.
In parallel, re:lax is expanding its footprint with the opening of its second location later in October, following the resounding success of its flagship store in Hackney. The new store features four beauty rooms catering to both individual visits and personalized treatment plans.
Borough Yards already houses well-known brands such as skincare sensation Malin+Goetz, along with renowned fashion labels like Paul Smith, Lids, and Ace & Tate. This summer, 12 new stores were added to enhance the shopping experience at this bustling district.
Additionally, Borough Yards is gearing up to host a series of captivating pop-up art installations this autumn, including the English National Opera’s ‘Under the Skin,’ celebrating the rich diversity found within the world of opera.
Lily Lin, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at MARK, the visionary investor and developer behind this area (notable for operating Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade), expressed enthusiasm for these exciting developments. She highlighted how these additions showcase the dynamism of Borough Yards, welcoming beloved independent brands and nurturing emerging retailers. Combined with the allure of pop-up art installations, Borough Yards is solidifying its status as a must-visit cultural hotspot.
