In 2022, Loewe SA, led by Managing Director Pascale Lepoivre and guided by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, demonstrated remarkable financial performance. The company reported a significant 37% surge in sales, reaching EUR 626 million, and a noteworthy 92% increase in gross profit to over 161 million euros compared to 2021.
The Spanish entity concluded the financial year with a substantial profit of nearly 128 million euros, marking an outstanding 87% growth from the previous year. Operating profit doubled, reaching an impressive 170 million euros. Although these figures offer a glimpse of Loewe’s performance within the LVMH conglomerate, they undeniably highlight the brand’s dynamic and robust performance. The company, indicating its financial health, approved the distribution of dividends amounting to 142 million euros.
Expenditures were allocated as follows: €266.9 million in procurement (32% increase), €29.2 million in personnel expenses (29% rise), and €238.5 million in other operating expenses (20.9% growth).
In a shareholder meeting on June 3, Loewe decided to distribute the entire 2022 profit as dividends. Additionally, a bonus of 15.5 million euros, approved at the same meeting and drawn from available resources, contributed to the total distribution of 142 million euros. These financial achievements underline Loewe’s robust position and successful trajectory in the luxury market.
