Lancôme has partnered with The Louvre Museum to launch an exclusive skincare and makeup collection, known as ‘Lancôme x Louvre’. Lisa Eldridge, global creative director of Lancôme Makeup, drew inspiration from nine masterpieces in The Louvre’s sculpture department and the museum’s ambiance to create this limited-edition collection. The selected artworks include Venus de Milo, Victory of Samothrace, Corine, Diana of Gabies, Nymphe with a Scorpion, Echo, Hygieia, Venus of Arles, and Hermaphrodite.
Laurence des Cars, president and director of the Louvre Museum, expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration, which showcases the diverse forms of beauty found in the Louvre’s collections. The collection is accompanied by a campaign filmed at the Louvre Museum, featuring celebrities Zendaya, Aya Nakamura, Amanda Seyfried, and He Cong.
Françoise Lehmann, general manager of Lancôme International, emphasized Lancôme’s belief in beauty as a living art and a personal ritual for self-expression.
