U.S. TV star Kim Kardashian, owner of a shapewear company, signed Spanish singer Rosalia as a model for her new collection, which the Grammy winner shows off in a series of photos released Monday.
Kardashian’s brand, Skims, revealed the collaboration with a short video in which the Grammy winner, her face hidden by her signature cat-eared biker helmet, walks toward the camera dressed in a black bra and shorts ensemble and shows off her identity.
«Everybody wears Skims,» the artist says in Spanish, throwing a smile before turning around and leaving the shot.
In a statement reported by Billboard, the brand said it found inspiration in Rosalia’s «international influence, which transcends music and continues to grow in the fashion industry,» and described the creator of «Motomami» as «the most relevant global female artist of the moment».
Kardashian, quoted in the release, highlighted the singer’s ability to «push boundaries and experiment with her music and personal style,» and said she wanted to bring her «energy and confidence» to this promotional campaign, which for the first time is aimed at a Spanish-speaking audience.
Rosalía herself shared some photos on her social networks, where she poses with several sets of underwear and cotton dresser in neutral colors, and just a couple of hours had accumulated thousands of compliments, including those of actress Rossy de Palma or designer Vicky Martín Berrocal.
