In a strategic move, Experienced Capital, the distinguished French investment fund with stakes in premium fashion brands, appoints Amélie Gosselin-Furno as a Partner and Member of the Executive Committee. This comes on the heels of Experienced Capital’s successful exit from the Parisian ready-to-wear label Sœur in November.
Founded in 2016 by former senior executives of the SMCP group, Experienced Capital has witnessed changes in its management committee. Amélie Gosselin-Furno, previously the Investment Director, takes on a pivotal role in steering the fund’s strategic direction alongside Co-founders Frédéric Biousse and Elie Kouby.
Gosselin-Furno, an accomplished professional in equity investment, brings a wealth of experience, having started her career in 2009 as a consultant at Advention Business Partners. With a degree in strategic management from the HEC business school, she later joined 21 Invest France, where she played key roles in corporate acquisitions, sales, and financial restructuring.
Joining Experienced Capital in 2019, Gosselin-Furno managed renowned fashion brands like Balibaris, Figaret, Nouvelle Garde, and Reform. Her elevation to the Executive Committee reinforces the fund’s commitment to strategic leadership and sustainable practices.
As a member of the committee, Gosselin-Furno collaborates with Emmanuel Pradère, President, Alban Gérard, Partner, and Virginie Birade, Fund Director. Her responsibilities extend to evaluating new investment opportunities and championing the integration of a CSR policy within Experienced Capital and its brand portfolio.
Beyond fashion, Experienced Capital holds stakes in beauty brands such as L:A Bruket and Oh My Cream!, the BAM Karaoke Box group, NV Gallery, Monday Sports Club, Nouvelle Garde, and Reform. This appointment solidifies Experienced Capital’s position as a leader in the investment landscape, poised for strategic growth and sustainable impact.
