Hailing from Lapland and a graduate of Häme University of Applied Sciences in Finland, Gabriel swiftly entered the fashion scene in 2012 with his first label dedicated to shoes. Collaborating with major brands such as Marni, Sunnei, Courrèges, and Marimekko, he quickly gained recognition for his unique creations.
In 2019, Gabriel introduced the Ion footwear label before being recruited by Camper to lead Camperlab, the experimental line from the Balearic-based shoemaker. Ascending to Camper’s global creative direction within a year, he injected the brand with fresh, successful creative energy in just two years.
