Originally slated for November 2, the dazzling event finally graced the iconic dome of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on November 14.
Against the backdrop of a sun-soaked, all-yellow setting reminiscent of Saint Tropez, 200 influential guests, including Marta Pozzan, Jenna Dewan, Shay Mitchell, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and stylist Maeve Reilly, gathered to witness the spectacle.
Cult Gaia’s resort collection, a celebration of color and texture, showcased Hekmat’s signature silhouettes, from lamé evening gowns to dresses adorned with trains, frills, and feathers. The vibrant palette echoed the warmth of Saint Tropez with yellows, lime greens, corals, and ocean blues. Noteworthy additions included crochet dresses, flower petal motifs, and a captivating array of swimsuits, along with the introduction of voluminous raffia dresses.
Hekmat shared her inspiration, stating, «The Resort ‘24 collection draws inspiration from the warm, blissful feeling of being under the sun and the color of joy and creation, yellow. The collection is a playful blend of color, shape, and texture inspired by the natural elements found on the beaches and walls of Saint Tropez. Our muse glows under the sun by day and glistens under the moon by night, living ‘la vie en Gaia.'»
