Chiara Ferragni, Italy’s leading fashion influencer with nearly 26 million Instagram followers, is actively seeking a new investor to facilitate the international expansion of her fashion brand. Lorenzo Castelli, from venture capital firm Alchimia Investments, which holds a 40% stake in Ferragni’s company, Fenice, is overseeing the search for potential investors. Private equity firms, family offices, and industrial players are among those being approached for potential investment opportunities. The goal is to finalize a deal before the summer.
Chiara Ferragni, aged 34, gained fame with the launch of her fashion blog, theblondesalad.com, in 2009. She subsequently launched her eponymous brand, featuring clothing, footwear, and cosmetics.
Ferragni has stated that Fenice, responsible for managing all brand licenses and operations, is on track to double its core profit to 2.4 million euros this year. Ferragni herself holds a 32.5% stake in Fenice, with the remaining ownership held by another Italian investor.
