Chanel’s Parfums & Beauté division is taking significant strides to enhance its influencer strategies by establishing a dedicated department responsible for cultivating innovative influencer initiatives. In September, the division welcomed French consultant Nadège Winter to spearhead this exciting venture.
The mission of this newly formed department is to drive the influencer activities within Chanel’s beauty division, with a focus on proactively anticipating, shaping, and accelerating these initiatives. These insights were shared by Blandine Velin, Chanel’s International Head of Influence and Brand Engagement, as part of a press release accessible through Winter’s LinkedIn profile.
Winter, who has been based in New York for the past four years, is now working in close collaboration with Chanel’s influence and brand engagement team. She’s also collaborating with the design team, corporate offices, and regional branches. To support her role, Winter has relocated to Paris and is operating from Chanel’s headquarters on rue Cambon.
With a diverse professional background that includes working with music labels, Winter has held notable positions, such as Head of Communication for the Palais de Tokyo center for contemporary multidisciplinary art in Paris from 1999 to 2001. She also served as the Head of Communication for the iconic Parisian concept store Colette from 2002 to 2008. Winter’s journey includes being the Head of Style for the Wool and the Gang brand from 2008 to 2010 and co-founding the Amish Boyish label with Dyane de Serigny in 2014.
In 2008, she founded her consulting agency, the Nadège Winter Agency, specializing in creative direction, communication strategy, and storytelling across various industries. In 2016, she co-launched Twenty Magazine, an online publication tailored for individuals aged 16 to 25, in collaboration with Delphine de Canecaude. In September 2019, Winter’s diverse experience led her to collaborate with the renowned US label Calvin Klein, where she held the position of Senior Vice-President for Brand Experience for one year.
