Canada Goose, the renowned luxury down jacket maker, takes a significant step in enhancing its leadership team with the appointment of Beth Clymer to the newly created role of President, Finance, Strategy, and Administration, effective January 8. Clymer, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and strategy, will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial, cultural, and strategic aspects of the iconic brand.
In her multifaceted position, Clymer will collaborate closely with existing leaders in their respective functions and will directly report to Dani Reiss, Chairman, and CEO. Her strategic involvement extends to working with upcoming leaders, Jonathan Sinclair and Neil Bowden, who are set to assume roles as President, APAC, and CFO on April 1.
Formerly the CFO at Jobcase, where she made significant contributions over the past four years, Clymer brings a wealth of experience in overseeing finance, people and culture, corporate development, strategy, and legal. With an impressive 10-year tenure at Bain Capital as an operating partner, working with private and public companies, including Canada Goose, Clymer played a crucial role in supporting Canada Goose during its IPO and continued collaboration from 2015 to 2019.
Dani Reiss expresses confidence in the appointment, stating, «Beth is a skilled operator with an incredible track record and is intimately familiar with our brand, strategy, and teams. I know she will be an invaluable partner to myself and to our leadership team, and I look forward to seeing her impact.»
