In a significant stride toward sustainable fashion, Ba&sh’s second-hand service, «Seconde Main,» emerges as a triumph within a year of its launch, contributing 5% of the brand’s online revenue in France. Led by Pierre-Arnaud Grenade, the initiative boasts 1.15 million euros in revenue and has garnered a third of Ba&sh’s clientele.
With a turnover rate of 74%, Ba&sh eyes profitability in 2024, envisioning the second-hand service as a potential replacement for traditional sale periods. The success story includes 20,294 products accepted, 16,159 articles sold, and the acquisition of 1,917 new customers, constituting 37% of the brand’s customer base.
Ba&sh plans to extend its circular program to Germany, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands, targeting 1.5 million euros in revenue. Pop-ups in France and abroad will further promote the sustainable offering. Embracing eco-friendly initiatives like joining the Fret21 logistics program and promoting regenerative agriculture, Ba&sh, with a remarkable 22% growth and 310 million euros turnover in 2022, continues its sustainable fashion journey, expanding «Seconde Main» across Europe.
