AZ Factory Announces Norman René Devera and Peter Movrin as In-House Designers for SS 2024 Collection
AZ Factory, the fashion house co-founded by Alber Elbaz and Swiss luxury group Richemont in 2020, is set to unveil its Spring/Summer 2024 collection designed by its own studio talents, Norman René Devera and Peter Movrin. Both Devera and Movrin, who head the studio, bring a wealth of experience from luxury fashion backgrounds. The collection, titled «AZ Factory by them,» will debut at a Paris show on October 2, marking a celebration of the brand’s in-house creative team.
Norman René Devera, originally from the Philippines and raised in London, began his career at Vivienne Westwood and later worked for Giles Deacon. He gained expertise in 3D design during his time at Céline and also contributed to Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, and Calvin Klein under Raf Simons before joining Versace in Milan in 2019.
Peter Movrin, born in Slovenia, graduated from Central Saint Martins in London. Known for his voluminous and sculptural creations, Movrin collaborated with celebrities like Lady Gaga and Beyoncé. He worked as a consultant for luxury labels, including Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Céline, Aesop, and JW Anderson, starting in 2017.
While AZ Factory has previously collaborated with external designers, this collection highlights the brand’s decision to spotlight its internal creative team’s talent. The move underscores the team’s ability to blend diverse influences into a multi-faceted aesthetic, further enriching AZ Factory’s creative endeavors.
Stay tuned for the unveiling of the «AZ Factory by them» collection, which represents a significant step in the brand’s commitment to nurturing and showcasing its in-house design talent.
