At the core of the Y-3 Gendo line is a fully hollowed-out TPU plate, originally created by Adidas’ innovation team for performance midsoles. When combined with the iconic Superstar model, it results in an expressive and dynamic form that perfectly embodies the fusion of Yohji Yamamoto’s artistic vision and the iconic Three Stripes’ aesthetics. These sneakers also feature a premium leather upper, highlighting Adidas’ rich heritage.
In contrast, the Y-3 Gendo Pro Model features a high-top pro model upper and introduces a striking zip closure in place of the conventional lacing system.
