Crafted in collaboration with notable creatives like costume designer Max Allen and hairstylist Sam McKnight, the windows showcase a cast of Christmas characters, taking over 100 hours to install using 500 meters of fabric, 2,000 baubles, and 150 fabric bows.
Simultaneously, Arket, known for its minimalist Scandinavian style, makes a significant move by launching its first-ever concession within Selfridges’ Oxford Street branch on November 24. Departing from its standalone and online presence, the 893 sq ft concession on the third floor will spotlight a curated selection of Arket’s womenswear collection.
The design ethos aligns with Arket’s understated aesthetic, featuring soft greys, custom-made tables, and signature terrazzo stone. Collaborating with Artek 2nd Cycle, the lounge area incorporates restored pieces, presenting pre-loved Artek lighting and furniture from the Finnish heritage brand.
