Burberry’s groundbreaking Streets initiative is making waves as it moves from London to Seoul, South Korea, in an electrifying showcase from October 7th to November 5th.
Seoul’s Seongsu Rose hub is the epicenter of this immersive experience, featuring a spectacular array of installations and events that highlight Burberry’s iconic signatures. From the timeless rose print to the newly reimagined Equestrian Knight Design, the essence of Burberry comes to life.
Located at 73 Yeonmujang-gil Seongdong-gu, the expansive Seongsu Rose space, once a factory, is now a playground of creativity.
Visitors are invited to explore the enchanting Petal Maze, an homage to the English rose, a central motif in Daniel Lee’s debut collection. Crafted with painstaking detail, sculpted shapes resembling petals, stems, and leaves provide a captivating glimpse into the Winter 2023 collection.
The celebration kicks off with a special opening event on October 6th, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
Seoul’s Streets adventure features two micro pop-ups: Seongsu Shoe and Seongsu Bottle, offering curated experiences and showcasing the latest footwear and hot water bottles from the collection.
Burberry’s dedication to its British heritage under Daniel Lee’s visionary leadership is evident. Norman’s, the beloved North London café renowned for its British cuisine, is adorned with its signature aesthetic and serves a delectable selection of British classics throughout the takeover.
Like the London launch, Burberry Streets transcends the hub, with the house’s symbols adorning various locations across Seoul. Look out for the striking purple rose print adorning flags and buildings throughout the vibrant streets of Seongsu.
This month also marks the debut of Streets in Shanghai, as Burberry continues to make a global fashion statement.
