ZEOS, which stands for Zalando E-commerce Operating System, is on a mission to develop a specialized operating system tailored to meet the unique requirements of the fashion industry. The ultimate vision behind ZEOS is to offer brands and retailers a single, unified platform that efficiently manages their multichannel business operations across the diverse European landscape.
Zalando has dedicated significant efforts to refine the ZEOS service since its inception. Extensive testing has ensured its effectiveness and reliability, leading to its gradual rollout across various markets and sales channels, including some of Europe’s most prominent e-commerce platforms.
At present, more than 30 brands and retailers, including well-known names like Pepe Jeans from the AWWG Group and the Polish footwear and accessories brand Kazar, have embraced and are actively utilizing this cutting-edge service.
The process for brands and retailers opting for ZEOS Fulfillment is straightforward: they simply dispatch their products to Zalando’s extensive network of 12 strategically located warehouses.
Riccardo Vola, the managing director of Zalando for Italy and Spain, emphasizes the impact of ZEOS, highlighting how it equips Spanish brands with the essential tools to rapidly expand their market presence across Europe. This allows them to tap into millions of potential customers through various online marketplaces and their e-commerce platforms.
