Under Armour, the prominent U.S. sportswear company, is pleased to introduce Shawn Curran as their Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this pivotal role, Mr. Curran will report directly to the President and CEO, Stephanie Linnartz.
Situated at the company’s headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, Shawn Curran assumes a critical responsibility overseeing various key aspects within the supply chain, including end-to-end planning, go-to-market strategies, product sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, global vendor management, distribution and logistics, global customs and trade compliance, warehousing, and sustainability initiatives.
Bringing an extensive background as an apparel retail veteran, Shawn Curran brings over 30 years of experience, having held diverse leadership positions at Gap Inc. His most recent role was as Chief Operating Officer for Old Navy. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Global Supply Chain across all seven Gap Inc. brands.

Shawn Curran is set to begin his role at Under Armour on October 16. This strategic appointment follows Under Armour’s recent announcement in September of designer John Varvatos as the Chief Design Officer. In their most recent trading update in August, the sportswear company reported a 2.4% decrease in quarterly revenue, amounting to $1.32 billion—marginally surpassing analysts’ expectations of $1.30 billion.
