Tommy Hilfiger has joined forces with the Chinese streetwear brand Clot to launch an exclusive Lunar New Year collection, paying homage to the Year of the Dragon.
Known as ‘Tommy X Clot,’ this 23-piece collection, initially showcased at Shanghai Fashion Week in October, seamlessly blends iconic Tommy Hilfiger pieces with the dynamism of Chinese youth culture. This East-meets-West fusion embodies the dragon’s symbolism of strength, luck, and success.
The collection boasts standout pieces like a reversible bomber, a bold red tracksuit, and an updated rugby shirt featuring classic and nylon stripes. Innovative design elements, including a dragon-print crew neck symbolizing fearlessness and strength, add an extra layer of creativity to the ensemble.
The campaign accompanying this collection mirrors the spirit of community, belonging, and optimism synonymous with Lunar New Year celebrations worldwide. Set against the backdrop of friends establishing a new home abroad, the campaign captures their chosen family creating fresh traditions in New York, their adopted city.
