Springfield fashion company, part of the Spanish Tendam group, is strengthening its presence in the Middle East with a new store in Dubai. The 209-square-meter store is located in the Mirdif shopping center.
The store, aimed at a public between 25 and 35 years old, distributes the brand’s collections for men and women and incorporates Springfield’s new commercial concept, in which the tree, the protagonist of its logo, also acquires relevance in the interior design of the establishment.
For Springfield, this opening «represents a commitment to a market with great growth potential and that in recent months has received support for trade driven by the celebration of the Universal Exposition,» as highlighted by the firm in a statement.
With the opening of this store, the young fashion brand is making progress in its expansion in the United Arab Emirates, a region in which it already operates a dozen points of sale in Abu Dhabi, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah.
At the same time, Springfield has announced plans to add other openings in Jordan, Iraq and the West Bank in the coming months, in cities and commercial locations yet to be determined.
Springfield is part of the Tendam group’s portfolio together with Women’secret, Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Hoss Intropia, Slowlove, High Spirits, Dash and Stars and Fifty. The company is present in more than 70 countries with more than 1,800 points of sale and distributes its products through its own stores, franchises and e-commerce.
Financially, and pending the overall results for the 2021/2022 fiscal year, the company closed the third quarter of the last fiscal year (comprised, in its case, between March 1, 2021 and February 28, 2022) with total revenues of 258.8 million euros, up 31.3% compared to the same period in 2020.
