Renowned photographer Steven Meisel and Galician fashion brand Zara continue to strengthen their creative partnership with the launch of a joint fashion collection, titled ‘Steven Meisel New York.’ This collection pays homage to Meisel’s beloved city and features 26 portraits of celebrities with a deep connection to the photographer. Industry professionals, including Karl Templer for styling, makeup artist Pat McGrath, and hairstylist Guido Palau, collaborated to create the collection.
Available for both men and women, the ‘Steven Meisel New York’ collection offers premium pieces at accessible prices, drawing inspiration from Meisel’s unique style and reflecting his body of work. It includes jeans, hoodies, parkas, fur-lined hats, bandanas, and lace-up black boots. References to the 1960s and music, as well as nods to Meisel’s early career as a fashion illustrator, are prominent in the collection.
The limited edition collection is available for purchase from September 18 through Zara’s official website and select physical stores. Temporary retail spaces will showcase the collection during international fashion weeks in New York and London.
The launch event in New York was attended by fashion industry luminaries, marking the culmination of Zara’s ongoing creative collaboration with Steven Meisel.
